Joaquín Cubillos Macaya
Law degree from Universidad de Concepción and an LLM in Business Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Postgraduate diplomas in Commercial Companies and Enterprise from Universidad de los Andes, and in Intellectual Property from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Jorge Lama Navarro
Law degree from Universidad de Concepción and a Master’s in International Political Economy from the University of York (UK). Postgraduate diplomas in Public Procurement and Government Contracting from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and in Employment Law from Universidad de Chile.
Legislative adviser at the Chilean Association of Municipalities (2023–2025), Chief of Staff at the Undersecretariat of National Assets, and General Counsel for Sacyr Operación y Servicios and Valoriza (2015–2018).
Gerardo Sanz de Undurraga
Law degree and a Master’s in Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Postgraduate diplomas in Energy and Natural Resources Law, Administrative Law, and Administrative Litigation from the same university.
Served as Chief of Staff at the Undersecretariat of Economy and Small Businesses (2018–2020) and Head of the Legal Division at the Ministry of National Assets (2020–2022). His experience covers administrative law, regulation, natural resources, litigation, and arbitration. He has also taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Eduardo Gárate López
Lawyer from Universidad Gabriela Mistral, with a Master's degree in Business Management from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and a Diploma in Natural Resources and Energy Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
He served as Head of the Legal Area of the Cooperatives Department and Head of the Associativity Division at Chile's Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, and as Chief of Staff to the Undersecretary of Telecommunications. His career includes serving as General Manager of Grupo MMRAD and Chairman of the Board of DETACOOP, as well as advising companies on corporate and real estate matters, with experience in regulation and corporate governance.
Gonzalo Álvarez Mettifogo
Legal studies at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, where he received the Beca de Honor scholarship for academic excellence in 2025.
He was a team member for the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in 2023 and completed an internship at Rojas Laulié & Abogados Asociados in 2024. His areas of interest include corporate, insolvency and tax law.
